Miltown Malbay Stone

Miltown Malbay Stone is proving very popular with Building Stone Cork customers because of its colours and versatility.

Quarried in Co. Clare, Miltown Malbay Stone is one of the most distinctive natural stones quarried in Ireland and is known for the worm fossils which run through it which gives it a highly textured surface and very varied character.

Grey in colour, it has hues of green and brown running through each stone.  

It is a cut stone (guillotined) which makes it quick and easy to work with and some of the projects we have supplied include:
